What do I need to do to get started?

Send us your resume and we'll contact you if we think you are a good candidate. From there you'll go through an interview process to determine if we wish to hire you. If you're hired, you'll go through a 1 day training course and then you'll be able to get on the phones.

What are the characteristics of the best agents?

Our best agents are very disciplined and have strong communication skills. They work their scheduled hours and stay on the phones. They love working from home and will do anything needed to keep their position.

Do you rate your agents?

Yes we do. We rate them on a weekly basis to ensure quality and that they are producing minimum levels of revenue for the company. We also monitor the agents work on a daily basis.

How many hours can I work?

That depends on you. We have some agents that work 4 hours a day and some that work 10. Currently our operating hours are from 6 am to 7 pm pacific standard time Monday through Friday. Saturday's hours are sometimes available

How do I get Paid?

You are paid every other Friday by check for the hours worked in the preceding 2 weeks.

Does ALX work with people from every state?

Yes, we do. There are no state restrictions on our program.

Can I work from places other than my home?

Yes, through our flexible technology, you can work from anyplace that has the minimum technical requirements as long as it is in the United States.

What are the technical requirements to work for you?

• A computer with at 1 ghz processor or better and Windows. Computers purchased in the past 3 years typically have a processor that meets this requirement. Laptops are OK.
• The latest version of JAVA from Sun Microsystems
• A sound card
• A USB port on the computer
• A USB headset with a microphone
• High Speed Internet Access. Some of the more popular services include DSL, cable modems and satellite cable.

How do you assign working hours?

When hired, ALX sets a schedule with the agent. This schedule is based on your availability and the needs of ALX. Once you have your scheduled, you are guaranteed those hours and you are expected to be on the phones. Extra hours are also available upon request.

Do I need to be licensed or certified?

No, we provide full training for you on our technology and programs.

How old do I need to be to work for you?

The minimum age requirement is 18.

Will I be an employee of the company?

No, all of our agents are Independent Contractors.
